Looks like FACT etc are targeting Inner Sanctum for takedowns, everything pretty much now is broken or had the headers corrupted. :-(

so is there any way to avoid these releases ? when everything is automated through rss feeds and sabnzb ? it's such a pain...

Not sure why i pasted wrong link, but a bandaid in the works here http://gitlab.acpmedicine.com/OptimusPrime/usenet-crawler-issues/issues/32

What do you guys think of the following bandaids.
- I've been thinking to hide the indexer perhaps that would put a dent in the takedowns for a little while but that would lower donations and we might have to move to yearly subs to cover server costs. 4 years online btw! :D
- only allowing bff's to see renamed releases
- limit the api more by totals per day and per sec. i've banned quite a few servers querying our api for every known author for instance
- write scripts to ban api crawlers automagically

most only applies if indexers are used as reference for takedowns,
we have a few 100,000s of releases only properly renamed here afaik. by hiding these from regular and writing the api crawler ban script, maybe they can be saved from the next takedown.

I am happy with yearly subs if that means site maintenance and fewer takedowns.
